Rules & Conduct
Registration with T&P Cell
All students must register with the T&P Cell through their respective branch coordinators before participating in any placement activity. Registration is a mandatory first step.
MandatoryHigher Studies Declaration
Students pursuing GATE, ESE, CAT, UPSC, or similar competitive examinations must inform the T&P Cell in writing and shall not register for campus placements.
Written Declaration RequiredDress Code & Punctuality
Formals are strictly mandatory: white shirt, black trousers, black formal shoes. Students must report 10 minutes before the scheduled time with all required documents.
Strictly EnforcedNo Withdrawal Policy
Once a student applies for a recruitment drive, withdrawal is not permitted under any circumstances. Completion of all assessment stages — aptitude, group discussion, and interview — is mandatory.
No Withdrawal PermittedPPT & Event Attendance
Attendance at all Pre-Placement Talks (PPT) and company-organized events is compulsory. Absence from any session will result in automatic disqualification from that company's drive.
Attendance MandatoryMultiple Applications Permitted
Students may apply to an unlimited number of companies and domains until they secure their first placement offer. There are no restrictions on applications before the first confirmed offer.

A student may hold a maximum of 2 placement offers during the placement season. After the second confirmed offer, no further participation is permitted.
Two-Offer MaximumMinimum Upgrade Threshold
Applying for a second offer requires a minimum difference of Rs. 4 LPA over the first confirmed offer. Final discretion in borderline cases rests with the T&P Cell.
Rs. 4 LPA Upgrade RuleFinal & Irrevocable Application
Applications made under the second-chance policy are final and irrevocable. Any withdrawal after applying will result in permanent disqualification from all placement activities.
Final CommitmentDream Company — Unrestricted Access
For companies offering Rs. 9.5 LPA or above, there are no participation restrictions. Students already placed may apply freely and such offers do not count toward the two-offer cap — ensuring every student has access to exceptional career opportunities.
Dream Company — Rs. 9.5 LPA+Off-Campus Placement Reporting
Off-campus placements are permitted. However, students must inform the T&P Cell immediately upon receiving any offer, whether via referral, direct application, or external portal.
Reporting MandatoryOffer Letter Submission
A copy of the offer letter — whether on-campus or off-campus — must be submitted to the T&P Cell for official records within 3 working days of receipt.
Submit Within 3 DaysInternship Guidelines
Internship applications are unrestricted. However, the sole responsibility for ensuring the internship does not conflict with the academic curriculum and examination schedule lies entirely with the student.
Student's ResponsibilityOfficial Channel Only
Direct contact with recruiters or HR representatives is strictly prohibited. All communication with recruiting companies must be channeled exclusively through the TPO or T&P Cell.

Violation of any placement rule will result in immediate disciplinary action and permanent disqualification from all placement activities, in addition to further action as per institute regulations.
Zero ToleranceNPTEL Certification Requirement
Completion of the NPTEL course "Enhancing Soft Skills & Personality" or any T&P-approved equivalent certification is mandatory for placement eligibility.
